SAFETY AND VISIBILITY
To swim safely in the open water, it is important to think about your safety. Hence, the Poseidon 1.0 features bright colors and a rescue whistle. If you are not able to swim together with someone or in a group, we recommend the use of a buoy at all times. This is because it makes you highly visible to other water athletes who are also on or in the water at the same time.

100% DOUBLE-WALLED NYLON
Quality is our top priority, which is why our buoys are made of robust, high quality and durable nylon. The nylon material ensures that the buoy can handle rough conditions and intensive use without any difficulty. This guarantees a long service life! Please note that unlike buoys of other brands, our buoy is not made of PVC. This makes the buoy a lot stronger and prevents leaks and tears.

TWO COMPARTMENTS AND VALVES
Unlike other swimming buoys, the swim buoy consists of two compartments. These are the air chambers through which the buoy ultimately floats. These compartments are individually inflated with a durable one-way valve. The two valves have a double closure to prevent air leakage and ensure that the you can easily inflate the buoy with your mouth.

DRYBAG
This is the space between the two compartments. In the drybag compartment it is also possible to store and carry your personal belongings while swimming. The roll-up closure at the top allows you to ensure that your belongings stay dry. Please note that if the closure is properly rolled up, in principle no water can enter the drybag. But we always recommend for your phone (or other valuables) the use of a waterproof phone case or waist bag. Safety first!

ADJUSTABLE DOUBLE STRAP
You attach the buoy around your waist with the double adjustable strap. And the extension strap keeps the buoy out of your swimming range, so you won't be bothered by the buoy or feel like you're pulling a heavy object with you while swimming.

CRAMP
Another important function - besides safety and visibility - is in a situation when you cramp up, are tired or can't continue swimming for a while. Then you can hang onto the swim buoy to regain your breath or rest for a while. Then you can continue swimming or wait for help from the shore who, because of the bright color of the buoy, can see exactly where you are.

RESCUE WHISTLE
The rescue whistle is ingeniously incorporated into the snap closure at the top. Because this whistle is incorporated in this click system, you can never lose it. On one of the pictures you can see exactly where the whistle is.

HANDLE
On the bottom and top of the buoy are sturdy handles. Here you can easily hold, lift or carry the buoy. And even with (heavy) stuff in the buoy, you can hold the buoy by one of the handles without any problem.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPER USE OF THE BUOY
- Make sure the buoyancy aids are empty.
- Fill the drybag with your personal belongings
- Roll the top down to the “foldable part”.
- Snap the two ends together at the top
- With the mouthpiece, first inflate the bottom compartment (this will put your personal items on top of the air chamber)
- Then, with the other mouthpiece, inflate the upper compartment
- Attach the waist belt extension to the clip at the end of the buoy

Tip: Store the swim buoy in a dry area and avoid sharp objects. For added safety/security, place your electronic items and valuables in a waterproof phone case or waist bag and then in the dry bag.

Warning: this swim buoy is NOT a lifesaving device. Open-water swimming is a dangerous sport. Never swim alone, always swim with a buddy or swim with a group.
